About This Opportunity

The APEGA Past Presidents' Medal in Engineering is offered annually to a graduating student in each degree program in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. This prestigious medal recognizes academic excellence in engineering education. The award is presented to students who demonstrate the highest academic standing in their third and fourth years of study, excluding spring and summer terms. Recipients must meet stringent academic criteria including maintaining a minimum 3.50 GPA on combined year three and four coursework, and a minimum 3.40 GPA on years three and four separately. The award honors outstanding academic achievement across multiple engineering disciplines including biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, energy, geomatics, mechanical, oil and gas, and software engineering.
