About This Opportunity

This Scholarship was established in 2022 to promote equity, diversity and inclusion, and to support students undertaking studies in Computational Linguistics within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is valued at $8,000 and is tenable for one year. This Scholarship is funded by a donation from Appen Butler Hill Pty Ltd. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and a personal statement stating their interest in Computational Linguistics (maximum 200 words). Preference will be given to applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island person, female and/or gender-diverse, or culturally and linguistically diverse.
