Aquatec Maxcon Scholarship

The Aquatec Maxcon Scholarship supports students pursuing postgraduate coursework in Urban Water Engineering at The University of Queensland. This scholarship was established in 2019 and is maintained by an annual gift from Aquatec Maxcon, a company that recognizes the importance of developing excellence in water engineering. The scholarship provides $10,000 to students enrolled in specialized engineering programs with a focus on urban water engineering, including the Master of Engineering, Master of Engineering Science, Master of Engineering Science (Management), Master of Urban Water Engineering, and Master of Urban Water Engineering (Professional). The award is designed to support academic excellence and leadership potential in the engineering profession. Eligible applicants must be domestic or international students enrolled or intending to enroll in Urban Water Engineering programs at UQ. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, personal qualities including leadership potential, and other qualities relevant to future success in engineering. Two scholarships are awarded annually, each providing one year of support. Applicants who have previously received this scholarship or who hold similar scholarships are not eligible.
