About this opportunity
The Faculty of Science Australian Research Council (ARC) Scholarship is designed to support research candidates in conducting research that directly contributes to the Australian community. This scholarship funds high quality students undertaking research aligned with ARC funded research projects within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate per annum, currently $41,753, plus tuition fees for international students. Research areas include big data and monoidal categories, alpine pollination systems, plant physiology, crop production, and biophysics. The scholarship may be co-funded by the Faculty of Science and external ARC research grants, including ARC Discovery Projects, ARC Future Fellowships, and Discovery Early Career Researcher Awards (DECRA).
