About this opportunity
The Archer-Ragsdale Arizona Chapter Tuskegee Airmen Inc. Scholarship honors the distinguished group of men and women who trained and served in the Army Air Corps in WWII. The Archer Ragsdale Arizona Chapter awards two scholarships to deserving graduating high school students who are college bound. Preferential consideration is given to those students who have attended the chapter's Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academy. The two Ashby-Herring scholarships awarded are named in honor of founding ARAC members who are original Tuskegee Airmen. This need-based scholarship supports African American graduating high school seniors from Arizona who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to pursue 2-year college programs.
