About this opportunity

Arktis 2030 is a national grant program funded by the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development through the Norwegian state budget. The program aims to facilitate the practical application of new knowledge, technology, and/or competence about the Arctic region. Projects must have effects across all of Northern Norway and contribute to a comprehensive Arctic perspective in line with the government's Arctic policy. The grant supports main projects with funding of up to 6 million NOK per project over a project period of up to five years, with the possibility of a one-year extension upon application. Minimum application amount is 1 million NOK per project. Projects can receive grants covering up to 50% of approved costs. Priority is given to projects with confirmed cooperation or letters of intent between at least two counties (Nordland, Troms, and Finnmark). The program focuses on projects that bring measurable effects beyond a single county, involve external partners, and actively engage end-users to ensure practical application of new knowledge, technology, or competence.
