About This Opportunity
The Army Benevolent Fund makes grants to UK registered charities and Community Interest Companies that provide services and support to the Army family: serving soldiers, former soldiers, and their immediate families (including the bereaved). The Fund expects to support up to 100 other charities and organisations annually. Applications are considered by the Board of Trustees three times per year at committees held in June, November, and February, with a separate Scottish Grants Committee normally held in April for organisations delivering services solely in Scotland. Organizations must provide services that directly support the Army family, meeting an evidenced need not currently being met by statutory or other providers. Applicants must demonstrate financial sustainability through at least one year's audited accounts, good governance, and measurable impact.
