About This Opportunity

Army ROTC scholarships provide financial assistance to college-bound high school students and current college students pursuing higher education while preparing to become U.S. Army officers. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and academic performance, not financial need. The program offers two-, three-, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete a degree. Scholarship benefits include full-tuition coverage, with the option for room and board in place of tuition for qualifying students. Additional allowances for books and fees are provided. Recipients also receive a monthly living allowance of $420.00 per month for ten months of each school year, which is also available to non-scholarship Contracted Cadets enrolled in Army ROTC during their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years. Specialized scholarship programs include four-year scholarships for high school students, Army Nursing Scholarships, Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) Scholarships through the Army Reserve, and Green-to-Gold Scholarships for enlisted soldiers seeking to become officers. The ROTC Pre-Med Medical Corps Scholar Program is also available for students pursuing medical careers.
