About This Opportunity

The Army Scholarship Foundation (ASF) awards one-year financial scholarships on an annual basis to qualified and deserving students. The scholarships are a means to reward Army families for the sacrifices our soldiers make every day to serve their nation and as a way to help their spouses and children become leaders in American society. Eligible applicants include sons or daughters of regular active duty, active duty Reserve, or active duty National Guard U.S. Army members in good standing; spouses of serving enlisted Army members; or sons or daughters of former U.S. Army members who received an honorable or medical discharge, or who were killed while serving. Applicants must be high school seniors, high school graduates, or registered undergraduate students at an accredited college or post-secondary institution. The program requires a minimum 2.0 GPA and a family adjusted gross income of $160,000 or less. The application process includes submission of transcripts, proof of service documentation, financial forms, a photograph, and a 325-word essay on one of six provided topics. The application window for academic year 2026-2027 is currently open with an April 15th deadline.
