Art & Design Department Scholarship Application for Outstanding First-Year Students

This scholarship program awards a limited number of scholarships each year to outstanding first-year students in the Art and Design Department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate a high level of engagement in their college art and design experience, quality studio work, creative growth, and collegial participation in the creative community. Recipients are selected based on their productivity as creators, contributions to the Art and Design community, and academic performance. Students must maintain a minimum 3.00 GPA and full-time enrollment status. Recipients are notified in April and invited to participate in the Crossing Over Exhibition in the subsequent fall semester.
