Arthur and Gladys McGinnis Bar None Leadership Scholarship

The Arthur and Gladys McGinnis Bar None Leadership Scholarship is awarded to student(s) with superior academic achievement entering the second, third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science, or a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health with a major in Food Animals or Companion and Performance Animals. Selection is based on leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Students are eligible to receive only one Bar None award or scholarship in any given academic year. The scholarship is supported by endowed funds from AJ 'Bud' McGinnis (BSc Agriculture, 1946) and Gladys McGinnis, and is administered through the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta.
