Arthur Frank & Dorothy J. Edwards Metz Scholarship Endowment

The Arthur Frank & Dorothy J. Edwards Metz Scholarship Endowment provides scholarship support for full-time freshman students who graduated from Dupo Community High School in Illinois. This endowed scholarship is designed to support academically strong students from the local community as they begin their higher education journey at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Recipients must be full-time freshman students enrolled at SIUE who graduated from Dupo Community High School (or, if no qualified candidates from Dupo, graduates of Valmeyer Community High School in Illinois). Applicants must be in the top 15% of their high school class and maintain a GPA of 2.75 or above. Award amounts vary depending on funds available and are capped at the recipient's tuition per semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
