Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Contest

The Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Contest is a scholarship competition offered by the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) to recognize and reward Eagle Scouts who demonstrate outstanding leadership, patriotism, and citizenship. This contest provides cash awards and scholarships to Eagle Scouts who submit outstanding essays and applications showcasing their achievements in Scouting, community service, and understanding of American history and ideals. The competition honors the legacy of Arthur M. and Berdena King by encouraging young men who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout to demonstrate their knowledge of American heritage and their commitment to the principles upon which the United States was founded. Winners advance through local chapter, state society, and national levels of competition.
