Asante TRMC Youth Volunteer Scholarship

The Asante TRMC Youth Volunteer Scholarship is open to students who are members of the Asante TRMC Youth Volunteer Auxiliary Program. This scholarship supports students who have demonstrated significant commitment to volunteerism in healthcare settings. Applicants must have completed 200 hours of volunteer service in the TRMC Youth Volunteer Auxiliary Program, including 90 days of service prior to applying. The scholarship is intended for students planning to attend an accredited college, university, trade or technical school in Health Sciences. Three scholarships of $1,500 each are awarded annually. Applicants must submit a 500-word personal essay about their educational and life goals, focusing on what they have gained as an individual, what they have given to others while in the program, and what influences the program has had on their life. A Mentor Evaluation is a critical component of the application and represents one-third of the total point system used in selection.
