About this opportunity
The Ascend St. Vrain Scholarship is funded by community members to help alleviate the debt that many students incur to attend post-secondary schools. This scholarship is designed to support high school students currently attending schools in the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) or BOCES programs, as well as current college or trade school students who graduated from these schools. The program offers multiple renewable scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 per eligible year, with at least one scholarship dedicated to students pursuing trade programs. The Braly Family Foundation provides one $2,500 renewable scholarship with preference to trade applicants. All recipients must demonstrate unmet financial need as determined by their college or trade school's financial aid office and must attend an accredited institution in Colorado. Scholarship awards are restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses, with amounts split between semesters.
