About this opportunity
The British Council has launched a scholarship programme in partnership with the University of Stirling aimed at benefiting women from eligible ASEAN countries. This scholarship is open to women who are pursuing a postgraduate degree within specified STEM subjects and who can demonstrate their need for financial support and are motivated to inspire future generations of women to pursue careers in STEM. The scholarship covers the full costs associated with study at the University of Stirling, including tuition fees, living costs, travel costs, equipment and study costs. Five scholarships are available for women from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Viet Nam, and Timor-Leste. Scholars must agree to return to their country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after their scholarship award has ended and demonstrate a plan and passion to engage other women and girls in STEM from their home country.
