Ashby de la Zouch Agricultural Society Scholarships

The Ashby de la Zouch Agricultural Society Scholarships provide financial support to students studying agriculture-related courses who are within 25 miles of Ashby De La Zouch. The award aims to encourage enthusiastic young individuals to excel within the agricultural industry and their studies with the help of funding and encouragement. Previous winners have used the scholarship to cover accommodation costs during their final year at university, purchase academic books related to farm management and animal health, attend industry conferences such as the Oxford Farming Conference and Dairy Tech, and fund travel expenses for required veterinary practice placements across the country. The scholarship has supported students at Harper Adams University studying courses including Agriculture with Animal Science, International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management, and Veterinary Medicine. Recipients are presented with their awards at the annual Ashby Show event.
