About this opportunity
The Ashurst Shanghai Winter School Scholarship is a scholarship designed to support students enrolled in the Shanghai Winter School program held at the East China University of Political Science and Law. This scholarship was established by a donation from Ashurst (formerly Blake Dawson) to support students from the University of Sydney Law School who are participating in the Shanghai Winter School. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial hardship. Recipients must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) within the Sydney Law School, have been accepted into the Shanghai Winter School program, and enrol in LAWS3068 or LAWS5368 Chinese Laws and Chinese Legal Systems. The scholarship provides financial support to help students participate in this international legal education opportunity in Shanghai, China.
