Asia Connect Scholarships

The Asia Connect Scholarships are designed to enable students to fully immerse themselves in another culture, grow personally and academically, and return to Aotearoa New Zealand with insights about Asia that can positively impact their communities. The scholarship supports undergraduate students at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington to participate in a university exchange programme in Singapore through the Wellington Global Exchange Programme. Recipients receive financial support of up to $30,000 to cover expenses such as accommodation, flights, and living expenses while on exchange. The scholarship aims to strengthen New Zealand's global connections and provide students with transformative international experiences. This scholarship will be offered for the first time in 2026, with up to 2 awards available each year.
