About this opportunity
The Asian American Leaders in Mental Health Scholarship is open to Asian American and Pacific Islander students pursuing a career in professional counseling with a focus on advancing mental health and social justice. This scholarship is intended to support emerging leaders in the AAPI community who are using their role as a counselor-in-training as a means of advancing mental health and social justice. Award amounts range from $500 to $1,000 and may be used toward tuition, fees, room and board, books, supplies, and other qualified educational expenses. This is a one-time award, though past recipients are encouraged to reapply each year in a competitive process. All scholarships are paid directly to the recipient's post-secondary institution.
