Aspire Award Undergraduate Scholarship

University College London (UCL) Faculty of Engineering Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Computer Science Aspire Award Undergraduate Scholarship at UCL reduces financial barriers and creates opportunities for students from Black or mixed Black ethnic backgrounds who are currently underrepresented in the Computer Science department. The scholarship provides full tuition fees plus an annual allowance of £20,000 to cover living and study expenses for the normal duration of the undergraduate programme at UCL. All Aspire scholars receive ongoing academic and career support during their study. Three scholarships are available to students starting in September 2026, and are awarded to prospective students accepted to Computer Science BSc, Computer Science MEng, Mathematical Computation MEng, or Robotics and Artificial Intelligence MEng programmes. The selection process includes an assessment of educational, personal, and financial circumstances, with successful candidates participating in one-to-one dialogues conducted by the Windsor Fellowship as part of the application process.
