Asset Builders - Building Your Future Bursary

The Asset Builders - Building Your Future Bursary is designed to support first-year apprentices at Red Deer Polytechnic who are enrolled in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Electrical Apprenticeship Programs. This bursary provides financial assistance to students who attended one of these programs in the most recent academic year and are continuing their studies in the subsequent year at Red Deer Polytechnic. The award is made possible through the generosity of donors Garth and Nicole Dushanek, who are committed to supporting the education and career development of apprentices in skilled trades. The bursary recognizes the financial challenges that apprentices may face while pursuing their technical education and aims to help alleviate some of those burdens. Selection is based on demonstrated financial need, and eligible students are automatically considered when they complete the General Application through Red Deer Polytechnic's scholarship system. Two awards of $1,000 each are available annually, providing meaningful support to students building their future in the skilled trades.
