About this opportunity
The ASSIST Fund is a financial support program for students with disabilities at the University of Northampton. It offers two specific awards to help students manage costs related to disability support and diagnostic assessments. The Diagnostic Assessment Award provides up to £350 towards the cost of obtaining a diagnostic assessment for Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) such as dyslexia, plus up to £50 for medical evidence required for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) applications. The Disabled Students Allowance Top-Up Award offers up to £200 for students who have applied for DSA to contribute towards computer and software costs when students are required to make a personal contribution by their funding body. The fund is exclusively available to UK home students enrolled full-time or part-time in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of Northampton. International students are not eligible for this award. Applications are processed through the Student Hub portal, and the Financial Guidance Team provides support and answers queries about the fund.
