About This Opportunity

ATES is a competitive scholarship program established by the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) to assist Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal people in the Torres Strait Region (including the mainland communities of Bamaga and Seisia) to participate in undergraduate Tertiary Education. The scholarship provides financial support for Indigenous students from the Torres Strait region to pursue full-time undergraduate degrees at any university in Queensland. The program is specifically designed for Indigenous people living within the Torres Strait who are motivated and committed to study, and who have not previously completed an undergraduate course. Applicants can be either commencing a full-time undergraduate degree or be partway through their studies.
