About This Opportunity
The Atlas Corps Fellowship is a transformative 6-to-18-month professional development program for global social change leaders. Fellows are matched with U.S.-based Host Organizations to undergo intensive on-the-job training, complemented by professional development sessions provided by Cultural Vistas, and networking opportunities with peers from around the world. The program's objective is aligned with the U.S. State Department Education and Cultural Exchange Bureau's Mission to promote mutual understanding through people-to-people exchanges. The Fellowship has facilitated professional exchanges between emerging leaders and U.S.-based social impact organizations for almost two decades, with over 700 Fellows from 85 countries having participated. The fully-funded program covers all essential expenses including international travel, visa fees, monthly stipend adjusted to the cost of living in the placement city, mobile phone bill, health insurance, and a one-time post-fellowship stipend upon completion of graduation requirements. Fellows receive comprehensive support including pre-fellowship orientation, ongoing personalized check-ins, professional coaching sessions, and access to personal and professional development opportunities focused on enhancing leadership and social impact skills. Note: Applications for the Atlas Corps Fellowship are currently closed indefinitely as of the time of this listing. The program was previously implemented by Atlas Corps and integrated with Cultural Vistas in September 2024, maintaining its core mission while benefiting from Cultural Vistas' expertise and resources.
