About this opportunity
The AUEA Pacific Engineering Pathway Award was established in 2017 and is funded by the Auckland University Engineers Association (AUEA) Inc. The main purpose of the Award is to provide financial and mentoring assistance to first year Pacific students who have achieved academically, have demonstrated leadership potential, and have demonstrated active participation in community, cultural and other activities, and have demonstrated commitment to, or interest in, the BE(Hons) degree programme. Up to two awards of up to $5,000 each are offered annually to support Pacific students enrolling in the first year of a BE(Hons) or BE(Hons) conjoint degree at the University of Auckland. The award has a tenure of one year and provides assistance with study costs. Applications typically open in early September and close in mid-October each year.
