Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS)

Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) are funded by the Australian Government to provide higher education opportunities for people from developing countries to study in Australia. These scholarships aim to build the skills and knowledge to drive change as the next generation of global leaders and contribute to the development needs of Australia's partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements. Scholarships are mainly at postgraduate level, however there is a limited number of undergraduate scholarships that are country specific. Curtin will work with AAS recipients to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to drive change and contribute to the economic and social development in their home country and build enduring connections within the community. The scholarships are offered for the minimum period necessary for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Australian higher education institution, including any preparatory training.
