About this opportunity
The Australian War Widows (Qld) Maroochydore bursary supports an annual award to provide financial assistance to the 'next generation' of women. This bursary is awarded in honour of the memory of Wyn Rahilly. The bursary is specifically designed for second year female Nursing students who are permanent residents of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council area. It provides a one-time payment of A$500 to support their educational expenses. Please note: This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded. Recipients are selected based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need.
