About this opportunity
This scholarship supports students in Veterinary Science or Agricultural Science within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney to undertake regional placements in the sheep or wool industry. The scholarship is funded by an Australian Wool Education Trust (AWET) grant to the University of Sydney to support coursework students undertaking regional placements in the Sheep or Wool industry. Applicants must be enrolled in their first or second year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, or any year of the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience and Bachelor of Agricultural Science. The scholarship provides financial support to students demonstrating financial hardship or disadvantage to attend a commercial sheep placement site located outside the Greater Sydney Area. The placement must not be located at a university farm or be owned by the applicant's immediate family.
