About This Opportunity
The Autism Scholars Award was established with support from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) to ensure that Ontario attracts and retains pre-eminent scholars studying autism. The program aims to foster a community of autism scholars who will excel according to internationally accepted standards of scientific excellence in creating new knowledge concerning child autism. The award supports research that translates into improved health for children, more effective services and products for children with autism, and increases the province's capacity in diagnosis and assessment of autism while strengthening the treatment system. The program is open to graduate students at the master's and doctoral levels who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents conducting autism-related research.
