AVC Class of '23 Award for Mental Health Stewardship

Granted to a DVM student graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) who embodied principles of mental health stewardship and advocacy within their class, is recognized for their work in bettering the class's overall wellbeing, and has been a champion for mental health awareness within the AVC community. In May of 2022, the Atlantic Veterinary College Class of 2023 decided to establish this award at AVC as their class gift upon graduation. The award is presented at the White Coat Ceremony and is recommended by AVC graduating class peers.
