About this opportunity
The Aviation Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing careers in aviation maintenance technology. This scholarship is designed for students enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an Associate of Applied Science Degree or a Certificate of Completion in Aviation Maintenance Technology. The scholarship is funded by the Delta Air Lines Foundation and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 and enroll in at least 12 credit hours for daytime students or 10 credit hours for nighttime students during the award period. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient achieves a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and completes the required credit hours in the fall. Financial need determination is not required as this is a merit-based award.
