Avløsertilskudd ved sykdom

This is a relief subsidy program for agricultural producers in Norway who need replacement workers when they cannot participate in farm operations due to illness, pregnancy, childbirth, leave, or sick children. The subsidy covers expenses for relief workers when the farmer cannot work due to sickness, death in the immediate family, pregnancy and childbirth, child hospital visits, or caring for chronically ill children (until the child turns 12 years old). The maximum daily rate is 2,100 Norwegian kroner, though the subsidy is reduced if the applicant has other income during the period, according to the Agricultural Agreement rules. The program applies to enterprises with livestock production, year-round greenhouse production, or plant/honey production (during off-season). Applications must be submitted within one year after the last day of sick leave for the period being claimed.
