AW Shaw Trust Scholarships

The AW Shaw Trust was established by the late Mr Allan Shaw to make tertiary education accessible for students from Orewa College. The Trust awards scholarships to students who demonstrate academic excellence and/or face financial hardship when undertaking tertiary education. Four new students are granted scholarships each year (2 male and 2 female), with preference given to top academic students who would experience financial hardship and those who through personal or family circumstances may face financial challenges. The Trust awards two types of scholarships: Academic Scholarships and Financial Scholarships, with a minimum of four scholarships being awarded annually. Recipients must hold New Zealand Citizenship.
