The Award for the Support of Women in the Engineering Profession recognizes engineers who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in advancing the recruitment, retention, and professional development of women in engineering. This prestigious award celebrates both work-related and voluntary achievements that have positively impacted women in the engineering field. Recipients are evaluated on their excellence in engineering practice, teaching, or research that has advanced women in engineering, as well as their leadership, mentorship, and participation in professional bodies and community activities. The award honors engineers who have made significant contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion in the engineering profession through their professional leadership and community engagement. Winners receive recognition at the annual Engineers Canada Awards Gala and are admitted as Fellows of Engineers Canada (FEC), acknowledging their outstanding contributions to supporting women in engineering.
