A.W.R. Carrothers Scholarship

The A.W.R. Carrothers Scholarship was established by the Students' Union of the University of Calgary in commemoration of the official installation of Dr. A.W.R. Carrothers as president and vice-chancellor of the University of Calgary in 1969. The scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in any faculty at the University of Calgary. Selection is based on academic merit and demonstrated involvement in extra-curricular activities. This award recognizes students who excel both academically and through their contributions to the university community beyond the classroom.
