About this opportunity
The Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship has been established by the Faculty of Health at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington to support first-year students meet the initial financial costs associated with enrolment into the Bachelor of Midwifery programme. The purpose of this scholarship is to support new students enrolling in the four-year Bachelor of Midwifery programme with their initial course related costs. Up to 27 scholarships are available annually, each valued at $1,000 NZD. The scholarship will be paid directly to the student as one lump sum and may be held in conjunction with other University awards. Recipients are expected to act as Ambassadors for Victoria University of Wellington and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
