About this opportunity
The Banffshire Educational Trust provides grants for residents, schools and organisations in the former county of Banffshire, which includes Buckie, Keith and areas of Aberdeenshire. The trust supports further education students who are resident in the area, educational excursions for school pupils or young people attending schools or further education centres, schools and further education centres to undertake educational excursions or purchase educational equipment, and clubs and organisations for sports facility maintenance, travel expenses, educational activities, adult education, and promoting education in drama, music and visual arts. Financial circumstances are taken into account when reviewing applications, with household income not to exceed £34,000 per year. Applicants must be ordinarily resident in the former county of Banffshire for the 3 years immediately prior to the start date of the course or activity.
