About this opportunity
The Bank of America Student Leaders Program is a paid internship and leadership development opportunity for community-minded high school juniors and seniors. Since 2004, the program has been part of Bank of America's ongoing commitment to youth employment and economic mobility. Students receive an eight-week paid internship with local nonprofits such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Habitat for Humanity, gaining practical work and life experience while serving their communities.
In addition to the internship, participants attend a national Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., where they learn how nonprofits, governments, and businesses collaborate to meet local needs. The program annually connects more than 300 students from nearly 100 communities across the United States to employment opportunities, skills development, and community service. The program aims to prepare a pipeline of community-minded young students to be successful in the workforce through leadership training and hands-on work experience.
