About this opportunity
The Banks Property Grassroots Fund aims to enrich the lives of people living in areas where Banks is proposing or progressing developments. The fund supports projects and groups operating in areas where Banks Property is proposing or progressing developments. The Fund can support a broad range of existing or new projects and activities, including promotion of energy efficiency, environmental protection and nature conservation, supporting health and wellbeing of people, improvements to community facilities, education and training facilities/equipment, and social welfare including events, trips and activities such as luncheon clubs and food banks. Grants of up to £2,000 are available to registered charities, community and voluntary groups, social enterprises, schools (for non-statutory projects), and parish councils operating in County Durham, Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, and Yorkshire. Organizations must have charitable aims and projects must be near a Banks property development site. Applications require pre-approval from the Banks Community Team before submission to Point North.
