About this opportunity
The Barbara and Jack Davis Engineering Education Endowment Fund was established in 2012 by Mr. John R. Davis, Jr., BS '55, and Mrs. Barbara J. Davis to support engineering students at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship is specifically designed to assist incoming freshmen or current undergraduate students who are accepted engineering majors and demonstrate financial need.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens residing in one of the following Western New York counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne, or Wyoming. The scholarship provides financial support up to $10,000 to help students pursue their engineering education.
Recipients must complete the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need. The scholarship emphasizes the importance of maintaining a connection to the Western New York region, requiring applicants to describe their ties to WNY and whether they were raised in the area.
