Barbara Rennels Roberts Scholarship

The Barbara Rennels Roberts Scholarship is awarded to full-time students accepted to Eastern Illinois University who are from Coles, Clark, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie, or Shelby counties. The scholarship considers financial need and requires recipients to be in good academic standing. Recipients must have graduated from a high school within the specified counties and may apply for the award again in subsequent years. The selection process requires submission of a letter of recommendation and a comprehensive 5-part essay covering academic achievements, educational plans, extra-curricular activities, college financing plans, influences on choosing EIU, and intent to enroll. The award is announced in the Spring Semester and paid in the Fall Semester.
