Cumbria Community Foundation Original Source

About This Opportunity

This grant programme supports charitable organisations working to help adults experiencing health-related challenges to employment in Barrow-in-Furness. The fund aims to help individuals connect with community services and create clear pathways towards gaining or sustaining meaningful employment. Priority is given to projects that are transformative, demonstrate meaningful co-production with people with lived experience, build on existing initiatives with plans to pilot innovative approaches, and demonstrate collaborative working with clear referral and support pathways. The fund specifically focuses on supporting individuals with mild to moderate mental health challenges, persistent pain and musculoskeletal conditions, substance misuse and self-harm recovery, and women's health and wellbeing. Projects must be delivered within 12 months of receipt of the funding award and will undergo a review 10 months after the award date to explore learning, impact, and potential eligibility for continuation funding.
