About This Opportunity
The Barry Harrold Memorial Award is an endowed scholarship established by Dr. Harrold's parents, Ruth and Terry Harrold, and his family, in memory of Dr. Harrold and in recognition of his love of Science. The award is to be given annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of studies in Physics at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing with preference given to students with indicated financial need. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
