Bath Spa University Bursary

The Bath Spa Bursary is a non-repayable grant designed to help support undergraduate students with education costs. Available to home UK undergraduate students, the bursary offers awards up to £1,050 for students joining in the 2026/27 academic year. This bursary is part of Bath Spa University's Access and Participation Plan and aims to widen access to degree courses by removing financial barriers to education for students from under-represented groups. The scheme's eligibility criteria may be subject to review as the bursary allocations are informed by external funding. The bursary is a cash award based on household income, and students can apply in each year of study if they continue to fulfill eligibility criteria including residual household income thresholds and continued attendance and engagement with their course. If requested, students may arrange to take their award as a tuition fee waiver.
