About this opportunity
The Bauer-Gordon Graduate Summer Research Fellowships are awarded annually to support graduate students conducting summer research. Preference is given to students engaged in Russian, German, or military history. The fellowship provides financial support for summer research activities including travel to sources, libraries, and archives. Applications must be between 3 and 10 pages in length and include a research plan, travel itinerary listing sources and archives to be used, a detailed budget covering travel, room and board, and incidentals, a selected bibliography, and an explanation of how the proposed research fits into the dissertation or thesis. Applicants who have received previous travel awards should explain how an additional award would allow them to further pursue their research.
