About This Opportunity

BAYHOST offers scholarships for students and young academics from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine with intermediate German knowledge (at least B1-level) to attend summer German language courses at Bavarian institutions of higher education. The scholarships support approximately 4-week courses held on-site in Bavaria. Applicants must be enrolled at or working in an academic capacity at a higher education institution in one of the eligible countries, have completed at least 2 semesters with grades to prove this, and possess at least B1-level German language proficiency. The programme awards about 40 scholarships per year and provides one-time support with no renewal option.
