University of Edinburgh Original Source

About This Opportunity

The BBSRC EASTBIO Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) is a doctoral training program that covers a wide range of disciplines including agriculture and food sciences, animal sciences, biochemistry and cell biology, biomolecular sciences, engineering and biological systems, genes and developmental biology, and plant and microbial sciences. The BBSRC awards DTPs directly to universities rather than to students, and applications should be made in response to advertised projects. The partnership offers both full and partial scholarships for PhD students pursuing research in biological sciences. Most scholarships are full awards covering tuition fees, some additional programme costs, and a stipend for living expenses. A small number are partial scholarships covering tuition fees, additional programme costs, and/or a contribution towards living expenses. CASE studentships are also available within the program.
