BE READY: Styrket forståelse av vert–patogen-dynamikker for bedre å bekjempe fremvoksende sykdommer

This is a joint transnational call within the BE READY partnership focused on pandemic preparedness. The Research Council of Norway is allocating 850,000 euros for Norwegian researchers participating in European research collaboration on pandemic preparedness. The goal is to increase scientific understanding and evidence-based knowledge about new and re-emerging pathogens with pandemic potential, as well as host responses triggered by infection. The call aims to enhance our ability to predict, prevent, and manage infectious health threats through a multinational, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approach that bridges research and development. Projects must be effective collaborations between partners, with applications submitted by the international consortium coordinator. Maximum support for Norwegian partners in the consortium is 300,000 euros, or 400,000 euros if a Norwegian partner serves as coordinator.
