About This Opportunity

The Beazley Scholarship commemorates William Beazley, state member for Abbotsford and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in the early twentieth century, who was a leading campaigner for the recognition of technical education and its acceptance in the community. This scholarship is designed to support Australian apprentices enrolled in specific trade certificate programs at RMIT University. Eligible programs include Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, and Certificate III in Plumbing. Applicants must be able to articulate their reasons for choosing an apprenticeship, their future career goals, examples of leadership during their apprenticeship, and how they intend to use the scholarship funds.
